When I took over Adhavi International in 2021, we only supplied our products to wholesalers and exporters. But with the help of the Walmart Vriddhi program, we soon started selling our own products in online stores in India, such as Flipkart. We realised there was a demand for our products in North America, and so we registered our own brand in the USA and started selling there too. The Walmart Vriddhi team was really helpful in this process and onboarding us with Flipkart. The program gave us many takeaways, such as cost optimisation strategies, logistics, global supply chain, compliance, and sustainability. We’ve implemented cost optimisation in our factory, and we have a “Go Green Initiative” in order to become a 100% carbon free organisation. We are now a proud home textile brand in India and North America, and I look forward to what the future holds for us.
